Ah technical issues! Don’t you love them. So it has been only recently discovered that our normally totally robust website has been not publishing our updates about the #16 STORIES competition. Apparently there was a conflict with a map plugin we were using. Argh!
Not to worry.
Here is the latest update on the competition (and yes, we have a new map plugin!)
As you can see we have dozens of entries from Australia (it may surprise some overseas folk, but musical theatre is huge in this country); some from New Zealand (we’re very pleased about that!), a vast number from the USA (well, that hardly startled anyone) and a number from the UK (definitely could be more however!)
We’ve also been told that many of you are just using GarageBand and using the microphone on you laptops etc. to record vocals for your demos. Works for us!
We are quite amazed that given the very generous support and coverage for #16 STORIES received from BroadwayWorld that we have yet to receive many entries from Europe, Asia and South America. But there is still time!
But here is the big news that many of you have been imploring us to make happen because you need more time to prepare your demos…
WE’RE EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRY
The new closing date is
SUNDAY 31 MARCH *
So, avoid shill-shallying, pussy-footing around, vacillating, beating around the bush (OK that’s all the verbs we know!) and get your entries in. Do it today, you’ll love it!

Notification of winners for each song will now be made no later than 28 April 2019.
